Archant

Theo, 11, went missing this morning (Monday, August 14).

Staff at Wyevale Garden Centre in Sidmouth are appealing for help to find their store parrot after it flew away this morning.

Theo, an 11-year-old African grey parrot, escaped at 8.30am today (August 14) while staff had been cleaning his cage.

A member of staff said: “He is in really good condition, we were cleaning him out and he took off and got out through a tiny crack in the door. He has not done that before.

“He is a valued member of our team and is in great health and well looked after. Please keep an eye out for him.”

Theo was last seen flying in the direction of Woolbrook Road.

Anyone who sees him is asked to contact the garden centre on 01395 516142 or hand him in to Sidmouth veterinary practice.
