Wide variety of painting styles and artistic craftwork on show during Devon Open Studios 2018
Artists across Devon are opening their studios to the public this month, and there is plenty of talent on show in the Sidmouth and Ottery areas between Saturday, September 8, and Sunday, September 23.
Some individual artists exhibit in their own homes; others in studios or galleries used by several people.
Devon Open Studios is a chance to find out more about the high quality and variety of creative work being produced in the county, and meet the artists. There are also several art and craft workshops and other events taking place.
Venues in Sidmouth, Newton Poppleford, Harpford, Weston and Ottery St Mary are exhibiting works including watercolour, acrylic, oil and mixed media painting, along with textile art, enamelling, jewellery-making and woodcarving.
