An exhibition showcasing the work of a pair of Sidmouth artists who have a combined 100 years of experience is being held in Sidmouth.

The free event being held by Bryan Dawkins and Peter Goodhall will be open from tomorrow (Saturday, August 12) until Sunday, August 20, in the Hatton Wood Room, at Kennaway House.

The exhibit will be open everyday between 10am and 5pm and will feature a wide range of subject matter with an abundance of marine works in the artists’ contrasting styles and mediums.

Bryan works in any medium that the subject demands, but he favours acrylics and specialises in painting seascapes, classic boats and other marine subjects, inspired by the Devon countryside.

Peter will be returning to the venue for a second time in 12 months to show his work, which is predominantly done with oil paint. His paintings of nudes in water have been bought in Hong Kong and Australia and have won multiple international awards.
