Attempted burglary in Sidmouth

Criminals attempted to break into an empty property in Sidmouth.

Burglars caused £20 worth of damages to the back door of the home in Lock Close when they attempted to get inside the house sometime between 5.30pm on Monday and 8.10am on Tuesday.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious has been asked to call police on 101 quoting crime reference number CR/058927/16 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
