Pantomime hilarity ensured as crowds went hopping mad for Ottery Community Theatre’s annual production.
This year’s offering, Froggy Froggy, was written and directed by Laurie Palmer, with a packed script full of well-known music, bright costumes and twists.
For the first time, the theatre group put on two matinees which were a hit with audiences young and old.
Jill Machin, from the theatre group, said: Froggy Froggy was a huge success, with showerings of positive comments from the audience after every performance.
“Despite the temporary loss of various props, an ever-growing mountain of ‘wand shine’ foam, and a costume rail that just would not stay together, all cast and crew made it to the end still laughing and full of energy.”
The group thanked the town council for a grant towards its new backdrop and the town’s Men Shed, as well as the cast, crew and band for their hard work.
