BOOK-LOVING pupils at the King’s School enjoyed a visit from author G P Taylor.
Fantasy fiction writer Mr Taylor delivered writing workshops to Year 9 English classes and talked to Year 7 about his life and work.
School librarian Debra Hanson said the visit was designed to encourage students to explore the craft of writing and inspire them to develop their own creative writing skills.
She said: “This event has been highly successful in injecting enthusiasm into our students, not merely for this author’s work but for writing in general.”
