FIRE: The Fire Service received a call to a fire involving a domestic oven in West Hill on Friday, September 30 around midday. Three appliances from Middlemoor, Sidmouth and Ottery were sent to the property at Perry’s Gardens. but on arrival the small cooker fire had already gone out.

FAYRE: There will be an ‘Autumn Fayre’ in the Institute on Yonder Street on Saturday, October 15 from 10am until noon. On sale will be local craft, cakes, books and gifts. Admission to include coffee and biscuits is �1.
