AN award-winning chef will be offering his culinary knowledge to Sidmouth College students.
Ed McLachlan has just landed a dream job as head chef at popular restaurant The Galley in Topsham.
The 23-year-old, who scooped Master Chefs Apprentice of the Year in 2009, is now hoping to increase his involvement with the community through teaching culinary classes in local colleges for GCSE students.
He has already been helping train potential chefs in Exeter schools and Exeter

Ed said: "I attended Sidmouth College when I was younger and have been in contact with them about taking occasional classes with the students. It will be interesting to see it from a different perspective.
