Archant

Staff at Wyevale Garden Centre in Sidmouth are celebrating the safe return of the store’s parrot after it flew off yesterday morning (Monday).

Theo, an 11-year-old African grey parrot, was tracked down two fields away from the Stowford shop and successfully recovered this afternoon.

The beloved bird was described by staff members as a valued member of the team.

He went missing while his cage was being cleaned.
