Herald Sharks take to the water to aid ShelterBox in 2011 Sidmouth Swimathon

EDITORIAL staff at the Sidmouth Herald are once again taking the plunge for charity.

The Herald Sharks have re-formed after their successful fundraiser for Living With Cancer Support Group last year, to take part in this year’s Swimathon at Sidmouth Swimming Pool on Saturday, October 15.

This time team members Stefan Gordon, Alain Tolhurst, Di Bowerman, Kingsley Squire and other colleagues, including Belinda Bennett and Katy Griffin, aim to raise money for Rotary’s ShelterBox, which sends vital emergency shelter aid to countries devastated by natural disasters.

If you would like to make a donation to the Herald’s team, please call Di Bowerman on (01392) 888502 or visit us at Kennaway House on Friday mornings or from 9am to 1pm on Mondays.
