A former BBC set designer is showcasing her artwork in her new studio in Sidmouth’s Libra Court.

People are welcome to watch Lynda Kettle painting seascapes and landscapes and ask her questions about her long and varied career.

She was born in Birmingham and studied art before becoming a set designer and working on many high-profile productions – from Howards’ Way to Style Challenge and Two Point Four Children.

Lynda was the vice-president of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and is now the vice-chairman of Sidmouth Arts Society.

She said: “When people visit the exhibition and see me at work, they are welcome to watch.

“I enjoy chatting about my work and my background.

“I’m delighted to share my experience of a long and interesting art career.’’
