BEER AND BRANSCOMBE: There were three reported crimes in Beer in May. Damage was caused to a boat moored on the beach and attempt was made to steal the engine overnight on May 18-19. A wall sensor was stolen from a house in Old Beer Road between May 22 and 23. And an attempt was made to break into the Barrel o'Beer pub between May 24 and 25. There was no reported crime in Branscombe last month, compared to five crimes in May 2008.
