A sustainable, eco-friendly, fundraising super-bag is back on the shelves in Beer.
Annie Boalch and Liz Fahey, the minds behind the Beer Bag Project, have received the 7th incarnation of the charity jute.
They have 1,000 bags – up from 100 in 2009 – in shops across the village.
Many different businesses and organisations funded the project in return for advertising, so the whole £4 from each sale goes to charity.
Local groups and causes supported so far include the primary school, Beer Rainbows, St Michael’s Church and the Mariners’ Hall.
