Record Regatta Week collection
SIDMOUTH Lifeboat got a record �286 boost from Beer Regatta Week- despite being unable to attend over a safety hitch.
A tractor tyre problem may have ended the lifeboat’s involvement in this month’s fun, but it didn’t stop Louise Harrison and other organisers collecting the bumper sum- the biggest ever.
Kind Louise and chums also raised cash for the RNLI. Lifeboat trustee Richard Thurlow thanked collectors for their “magnificent” help.
