THE Devon County Cub Scout Cross Country event was held in Beer on a beautiful summer's day earlier this month.
Thirty Cubs from across the county attended the event at Beer head to race around the three mile course.
Beer Cub Christopher Young came third in his age section.
Nigel Groves, Beer Group Scout leader, said: "The Cubs had a fantastic afternoon and amazed us how quickly they ran round the course.
It was good to see so many children taking part in this event, and we look forward to hosting next year's event too."
