Beer film society dates set

BEER film society will be showing Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (PG) on Friday, January 9 at the Mariners Hall.

Entry is free for members and £5 for their guests. Tickets can be bought from Beer Post Office or alternatively ring Martin Cox on (01297) 22887.

Non-members who watched the society's showing of Mamma Mia on Tuesday, December 30 will receive a £4 discount when they present this ticket to ushers. Tickets can not be purchased on the door.

The society is now into the second half of its 2009-2009 season with three films left to show.

The British romantic comedy, Happy Go Lucky will be screened on Friday, February 6 and a short British film, Pigeon Post, will be screened before the main feature film, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day, on Friday March 13.

Membership for the rest of the season can be paid for on the door. For a single person, membership will cost £12 and for a couple who live together the price is £20. This will include all three films.

Members must be 18 or over.
