Sunday, August 10 - A CHARITY horse-ride from Bristol to Beer raised thousands of pounds for the National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen and Cancer Research UK.

A CHARITY horse-ride from Bristol to Beer raised thousands of pounds for the National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen and Cancer Research UK.

Charlotte Wakley, of Southdown Close, Beer, raised £4720 for the charities in memory of Sean, her brother, and Ali McCleod, her mum's partner, who were both lost at sea in 1993.

The family undertook the sponsored ride at Easter.
