BEER and Branscombe are celebrating their Best Kept Devon Village successes with presentation events.
Beer won the new entry category of the competition, run by the Campaign to Protect Rural England and sponsored by Mole Valley Farmers. An event will be held in the Mariners’ Hall on Thursday, October 7, at 2pm.
Branscombe’s event is at the village hall on October 14 at 7pm. It won the small village category. Both villages will be presented with a shield, the traditional green road sign, a framed certificate and �100 of MVF vouchers.
