Bike damaged and dumped on Sidmouth seafront

A BICYCLE stolen from Sidmouth's sea front last week was found severely damaged.

The customised orange Vindek unisex town cruiser, worth £500, was taken from its chained spot at the Esplanade between Monday, February 16 and 9am on the following day.

This week, a member of the public found the bike, which had been thrown into the sea, near the beach.

A police spokesman said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the crime or anyone with information."
