Scores of people turned out to support a Sid Valley Horticultural Society coffee morning - and sowed seeds of excitement ahead of its biggest annual event.
Organisers thanked residents who flocked to Sidford Social Hall on Saturday and raised £270 for the show.
Schedules for the society’s 88th annual gardening and craft show were also launched at the weekend.
Secretary Beryl Kingman said: “Thanks so much to everyone who attended the coffee morning – it was really well supported.”
She revealed that Otter Nurseries will support the show this year.
