The body of a man believed to be homeless was found in the porch of Sidmouth Unitarian Church this morning (Friday).
A member of the public made the discovery at 11.25am.
PC Simon Blyth said police do not believe there were any suspicious circumstances.
Three police cars and an ambulance were in attendance, which has taken the body to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.
The man’s next of kin will be informed before his identity is made public.
