A 10-year-old boy was rescued after becoming stuck down a 20ft hole in rocks in Sidmouth.
The boy became trapped as he was climbing over the rocks at Sidmouth beach at about 5.20pm yesterday (Sunday), coastguards said.
A coastguard rescue team from Beer pulled him out using ropes.
βHe was quite frightened, but his father was talking to him to keep him calm before he was rescued,β a Portland Coastguard spokeswoman said.
