PEOPLE who have ties to Branscombe and would like to move back to the area are being encouraged to fill in a housing needs survey.
Plans are in the pipeline to provide affordable housing in the village but East Devon District Council first needs to find out how many people are seeking accommodation in this area.
People who live in Branscombe or former residents who now live in the surrounding villages and towns are eligible and should fill in the housing needs survey as soon as possible.
Anyone who would like a form should ring Chetna Jones, clerk of Branscombe parish council, on (01297) 680337 or email chetna.jones@homecall.co.uk.
Alternatively ring district councillor Mike Green on (01297) 20623.
