Nearly £500 was raised for the Village Hall Roof Fund at the Christmas Bingo Extravaganza held on Wednesday, December 10.
Paul Haines, chairman of Village Hall Fundraising Committee, said: "The Bingo went well, a Christmas variation being that winners of each house had to pull a party popper instead of calling out."
The event was very jolly with crackers, mince pies, Quality Street, and of course the bar. Prizes were plentiful and included turkeys, hams, biscuits, tins of sweets. There was also a huge raffle.
Paul thanked Steve and Sue Keane, their helpers and to everyone who generously donated prizes.
