BRANSCOMBE will play host to the talented Joe Stilgoe Trio next month.
The show has been organised by the village hall roof committee in conjunction with Villages in Action (VIA).
Joe's father, Richard, who is noted for his witty songs on the Esther Rantzen programme, has just become a patron of Villages in Action, the organisation devoted to bringing top-class entertainment to the countryside at affordable prices.
Paul Haines, an organiser, said: "Joe combines his father's formidable wit in crafting songs with virtuostic skill at the keyboard.
