AXE Valley Community Police Cadets took to the forest for a night in Branscombe.
Seaton Neighbourhood Police Team organised the camping event for the eight cadets at Coombe View Farm on Monday, August 17.
The group took part in a number of activities including collecting wood, building a camp fire and building shelters.
The cadets were also tasked with a 'hide-and-seek' challenge where they put their stealth-like skills to the test. Trevor Glasper, the camp site owner, let the cadets stay for free and in order to repay his kindness they helped out on the farm.
PC Steve Speariett said: "Our thanks go to Trevor Glasper for his help. It was a thoroughly enjoyable but tiring couple of days and once again the cadets were fantastic.
