MORE than �100 was raised by Branscombe school pupils who put their best foot forward for a sponsored walk.
The whole school participated in the walk around the village on Tuesday and the youngsters finished their walk at the beach where they met up with the preschool.
Neil Swait, acting headteacher, said: "Thank you to everyone who was able to come along and support the event. The children behaved remarkably well and completed their route with great tenacity."
The money raised will be donated to a local charity.
