OTTER Nurseries will welcome Ottery St Mary Silver Band’s Brass Class section on Saturday.
Playing Christmas carols and seasonal tunes, the musicians are guaranteed to get visitors into the festive spirit.
The band consists of mainly school-age players, who live locally and practice together once a week. They are funded by two concerts, held during the year, and money given by local sponsors.
Musical director Brian Baker said: “There are 11 members in the group at the moment, with three new people starting in January. The group is going from strength to strength”.
