BROWNIES from across the district enjoyed a fun-filled day at the Slade Centre at their Brownie Revels.The Guiders, Young Leaders and Trefoil Members along with 45 Brownies enjopyed a number of games, competitions and activities, beginning with arts and crafts in the morning followed by various circus games.Organiser Grace Essex said: "The Donkey Sanctuary was great, they let us have the run of the Slade Centre and the surrounding fields."She said: "The girls enjoyed a 'best dressed in red' competition that was won by a girl with fantastic plaits tied with red ribbon"A picnic was followed by a skipping workshop, in which professionals taught the brownies all new ways of skipping. "The day was ended with a campfire" said Grace, "The girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
