A business networking event celebrated its first year in a unique way with an ‘amazing’ falconry display at St John’s School.
The Sidmouth Business Café event offered its members a glimpse inside the historic school before the youngsters gave Jonathan Marshall’s feathered friends a run for their money.
The monthly meet-up brings together local business owners, but relies on venues being offered to host it.
Organiser Louise Turley said: “It is a non-profit event and is proving a great way of getting local businesses to become familiar with each other. It was an amazing way to celebrate our first year.
“[Headmaster] Simon Larter very kindly offered the school as a venue and I felt it would be wonderful to do something combining the school kids with the businesses and it felt perfect choice for the first birthday event.”
