A burst pipe which flooded the A3052 on Trow Hill near Sidford yesterday (Monday) and left homes without water has been repaired.
Up to 400 households on higher ground in the Sidford area were affected between 11.45am and 4.30pm.
The problem was fixed by 4.30pm and the service has returned to normal, reports South West Water.
