As I sit in my office following a lunch out in a restaurant and looking forward to a weekend ahead of welcoming friends over, I feel pleased that restrictions have lifted and positive about this time ahead. Property market activity in the South West continues to be high and 247 Property Auctions have had a great variety of lots going under the hammer in recent weeks, both property and land.

Operating weekly online auctions, rather than adopting the monthly approach, means our clients can sell quickly and motivated buyers have continued opportunities to invest. In terms of the assortment of lots we deal with, to give recent examples, within the last couple of weeks going under the hammer we have had an area of amenity copse land in Sidmouth, a fire damaged home down in Torpoint, a large property in Torquay arranged as three flats and a tucked away cottage near the seafront in Dawlish. I enjoy my role as an auctioneer from the first inspection of a lot to the moment the gavel falls to liaising with clients following exchange. I also appreciate the opportunity to be able to visit a variety of properties and clients across the South West and beyond.

Whilst we are based in East Devon we are pleased to be widening the areas in which we work, expanding our reach. There have been a number of fantastic lots in Cornwall previously sold by 247 and as I write we have two outstanding opportunities in Cornwall going under the hammer in June. One a stunning residential residence located in a wooded retreat, with a separate character cottage, both with huge potential. The other property is a charming cottage ready for refurbishment in a fantastic location. Working further afield we have a rare opportunity for buyers to purchase a large detached period property for sale in East Sussex which is going under the virtual hammer in the next few weeks.

The variety of lots we offer means that there is something for everyone and well worth taking a look. If I can help you with any advice please do not hesitate to contact me.
