Busy year for Churches Together in Sidmouth

IT has been a busy year for Churches Together in Sidmouth, particularly with its Hope 08 activities, including prayer days, walks of witness and painting the Girl Guide hut.

Joan Edgecumbe was re-elected chairman at CTiS' annual meeting last week and a presentation was made to retiring secretary John Defoe, whose successor is Jackie Stephens.

"I would very much like to thank John Defoe for his great supporting role as secretary and wish him well for the future," said Mrs Edgecumbe.
