A PAIR of Christmas cakes have raised £126 for Fields’ charity of the year -Sidmouth Lifeboat.
The festive-themed treats were baked and decorated by Jen Callaghan, a chef in the store’s coffee shop.
Customers were invited to take part in a guess the weight of the cake competition - with a Mrs Smith from Otterton named the winner.
Staff also had the opportunity to guess the weight of a second cake, raising £26 in the process.
“Staff and customers have been fantastic this year, supporting our nominated charity, Sidmouth Lifeboat, and we’re delighted that we have continued to raise money during a very expensive time of year,” said Fields’ Claire Jenkins.
