The school will be holding a clean-up on Monday (April 11) after heavy rain
Tipton St John Primary School will be holding a clean up on Monday after heavy rain deposited mud and silt over the playground.
The community rallied together before the start of term in January when the playground was completely submerged from water from the Metcombe Brook.
Devon county councillor Claire Wright has said that Lee Howell, chief fire officer for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, has offered the assistance of fire crews to assist with the clean up.
The clean up will begin from 10am on Monday, April 11.
