Well? How was it for you? The traditional Easter weekend has come and gone yet hopefully provided a welcome boost to the town’s economy, but should we be looking further ahead?

Patience is a virtue that we have all had to acquire in more recent times, but its attributes are showing themselves as the attraction of this glorious seaside town waves its wand and its heart starts beating at faster rate .

There is of course the theory that we are all never too old to learn and, on that basis, would it not be a good idea for businesses around the town to get together once a month and simply share ideas as to how we have all survived the last two years and how to deal with what lays ahead, as with the unpredictability of current times there are certain situations which could become major influences on our lives in the future.

Lets be honest, we all like to think we know what we are doing when it comes to business and if we don’t we are often a little reticent to ask for help, so why not share our ideas, whilst some business models work for some they may not be so productive for others, but if we don’t know about them we will never know will we and haven’t we all been through enough over the last couple of years?

Business can be tough and sometimes we need to make tough decisions which are not in keeping with our human nature and that can be a stumbling block for many as these decisions are put off and put off until they are forced upon us by which time it is far more difficult to cope with.

I for one would be happy to foot the bill to hire a room where businesspeople from the town can meet to share ideas and creativity and if those meetings help one business progress, then it has been a worthwhile exercise.
