Call my antiques bluff raises funds

AN antiques Call My Bluff night at Sidmouth Golf Club raised £424 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

The event on Thursday, November 11 was hosted by Dan Goddard of auctioneers Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood. Mr and Mrs Sharp were the overall winners and received a bottle of champagne.

Macmillan Sidmouth branch chairman Joyce Burnham said: “Thanks to Dan and his colleagues for the entertaining way they described the antiques ranging in value from £50 to £50,000. Thanks also to Coles Newsagents for selling tickets and Moores Restaurant in Newton Poppleford for donating a meal voucher.”
