The order is in for Sidmouth Living With Cancer’s mini-bus
IT’S ORDERED! Bill Lankester of Sidmouth Living With Cancer has ordered the much-needed mini-bus that residents and others are helping to fund through Campaign 2010.
Bill went to Newton Abbot to meet with the men in charge at GM Coachwork last week and placed an order for the Peugeot bus, which will be delivered on January 1, 2011.
“It will be a red-letter day for our group,” said Bill, who added: “We still need to raise up to 27,000 which should give us enough to run and maintain the vehicle for a two-year period.”
The support group has also received charity status (Registered No: 1136768), which means it does not have to pay VAT on the vehicle and can also claim Gift Aid.
