SIDMOUTH'S Cancer Research UK shop is playing its part in keeping the planet green whilst raising funds for a vital cause.
The Fore Street shop has struck up a partnership with Honiton company Trade and Donate who aim to reduce the amount of reusable household items going to landfill and benefit local charities in doing so.
Items such as furniture and large electrical items, too big to be accepted by Cancer Research shops, are taken and sold on with 20 percent of revenue going to the charity.
Continuing its' green theme, the Fore Street shop has also begun selling Christmas cards, all of which are produced in the UK from locally sourced materials and either recycled or in line with strict FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) criteria.
