A Carnival Fun Day – featuring tug-o-war, a dog show, a duck race and classic vehicles – is taking place at the Land of Canaan, Ottery St Mary, this Sunday (August 25).

Starting with a car boot sale from 9am, the day kicks off properly from midday onwards.
Other attractions include a Scalextric-style rally circuit, a clay pigeon shoot, Bertie the Bus, a bouncy castle, a bar and a barbecue. The event is a fundraiser for the Ottery St Mary Carnival Committee.
