BEST friends from Newton Poppleford, who have both been crowned carnival royalty, are gearing up for a fundraising car boot sale.
As previously featured in the Herald, Tiffany Clay and Becca Cardwell, both 12, did not want to compete against each for the carnival queen title-so instead they will both have the honour.
And in order to raise funds for their dresses and accessories the girls have organised the car boot sale, which takes place on the village's playing fields on Saturday.
It will be held from 9am-12noon and people who would like to help out or donate any goods can ring (01395) 567537 or (01395) 567923.
