SIDBURY Fireworks organisers handed out a total of �2,400 to causes this week.
A record turnout at the November 5 spectacular helped raise the amount.
Armed forces charity DecAid received �1,500, Sidbury Primary school was handed �500 for the purchase of computer equipment, and a donation of �400 was also made to St John Ambulance.
Cheques were handed out at Sidbury Village Hall by fireworks event treasurer Roger Davey.
