Ceilidh to boost Ottery flood victims

FLOOD victims will benefit from the proceeds of a hotpot supper and Ceilidh in Ottery St Mary next Friday (January 23).

FLOOD victims will benefit from the proceeds of a hotpot supper and Ceilidh in Ottery St Mary next Friday (January 23).

The Sustainable Ottery group has arranged the evening of fun in The Institute, Yonder Street, to boost the town's Flood Relief Fund and East Devon District Council has pledged to double the proceeds.

Devon-based band, Stick the Fiddle, have agreed to waive their fee to provide entertainment. There will also be a licensed bar and raffle.

The event will begin at 7.30pm, tickets are available from Ottery's Tourist Information Centre, Roberts DIY and the Ottery Office & Computer Shop. Numbers are limited to 100 people. E-mail Tony tonyandbrenda555@hotmail.com.
