Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund gives 17 chairs for patients’ use
SEVENTEEN chairs; including a hydro-tilt chair, costing a total of �10,000, have been donated to Sidmouth Hospital by Sidmouth Victoria Hospital Comforts Fund.
Handing over the chairs to matron, Emma Bagwell, yesterday, Monday, its chairman, Graham Vincent, said: “The Comforts Fund is very happy to present these chairs to the hospital for the further comfort of patients.
“Since the formation of the Comforts Fund in 1948, much equipment and many forms of comfort have been supplied through the generosity of local residents to whom we are so grateful.”
President Sheelagh Michelmore, with Shirley Firth, Dr Andy Ridler and Alison Black, attended the presentation.
