CONCERT: One of Germany’s finest classical music ensembles is playing a rare concert at Ottery Parish Church on Wednesday
The Chamber Philharmonia Cologne will be performing from 7.30pm with a diverse programme ranging from Vivaldi, to Bach, Mozart and Tchaikovsky.

The long-running event, run by band the Levellers, is headlined this year by Frank Turner and Public Image Ltd, and continues until Sunday night.

SHOPPING: Ottery St Mary’s late-night shopping date for 2012 has been confirmed as Friday, November 30.
The date coincides with the town’s second annual Christmas Trees Festival to be held in the parish church, and the evening will also feature the switching on of Ottery’s Christmas lights display.
