THE bi-annual Branscombe art exhibition raising money for charity is once again upon us.

It enjoys a reputation as a showcase for attractive works of art at affordable prices and 400 paintings and drawings from over 100 artists will be on show, together with pottery and craft.

The exhibition is hugely popular, not only as a means for local artists to exhibit and sell their work, but has raised thousands of pounds for local charities.

This year Sidmouth based charity Living with Cancer, will receive the major part of the funds raised and other local organisations will also receive donations.

The 2007 exhibition raised over 1,500 for distribution and the organisers hope to exceed this target in 2009.

The exhibition will be open in Branscombe Village Hall 11am-6pm Good Friday, April 10 to Easter Monday, April 13 11am-5pm.
