An evening of choir singing and beautiful harmonies from flautists has been promised to Sidmouth music lovers.
A concert to raise money for Sidmouth Hospiscare will take place on Thursday.
Ashlynn Lee, Sidmouth Hospiscare’s volunteer coordinator, has organised the event at Sidholme Music Room to showcase the talent among the staff and volunteers. The concert will feature Our Choir - Sidbury’s Community Choir - under the musical direction of Lynden Webb, and accompanied by Andy Benoy. The choir has several charity volunteers among its members and will be joined by guitarist Peter Fung, vocalist Misty Roses and soprano Sue Packer.
Ashlynn and two other flautists, Kay George and Katie Olney will also be playing. The repertoire will include some traditional and well-known music along with Flute works by Devienne, Chopin and Poulenc. Tickets are available from Potbury’s Furniture Shop at £10.
