A SIDMOUTH charity helped a singing centenarian celebrate her 102nd birthday.
Sidmouth Voluntary Services volunteers congratulated Hilda Billson, who is a regular visitor to Twyford House to enjoy the lunches it provides, and all the staff gave her their best wishes.
Tony Drodge, one of the cause’s minibus drivers, presented Hilda with a bouquet of flowers and a card.
Hilda, of Malden Close in Sidford, was one of the UK’s oldest choir members when she turned 100 in 2011.
“Turning 100 was just another day,” the St Peter’s Church congregation member said at the time.
