ANGLICANS meet Methodists at Sidmouth on Sunday, March 15, when Exeter Cathedral Choristers sing Evensong at the Methodist Church.
It is an unusual venue for the cathedral choir as Methodist churches do not usually hold Evensong and is the first time the Sidmouth church has held such a service.
It was John McGregor, one of the church's three organists, who invited the choir to sing after he met its organist.
All are welcome to the service, which starts at 6.30pm, conducted by the Reverend Brian Hadfield.
The choir's history goes back to the 13th century and consists of 20 boy choristers, 20 girl choristers and 12 men. Adults are professionally trained singers.
It makes regular visits to churches throughout the Diocese to sing services and concerts.
