CHRIS Rea’s Driving Home for Christmas is the top tune to crank up in the car at this time of year, a poll has revealed.
Thrifty Car and Van Rental customer survey of Top 10 Christmas driving tunes saw Fairytale of New York by The Pogues come second, with Mariah Carey’s All I want for Christmas taking third place.
At number four is Bing Crosby’s White Christmas and Merry Christmas Everybody by Slade came fifth. Tailing the poll at Number 10 was Last Christmas by Wham.
Thrifty’s director of central services Linda Paul said: “Our customers have very good taste in music as my favourite Fairytale of New York has been voted number two. ”
